IPTI Statistics Program

The IPTI Pick to Light software suite consists of four turnkey software programs for a complete solution. This suite includes: Host Interface program, Real Time Pick-to-Light program, the IPTI Statistics program, and the Order Reconciliation program.

The Host Interface program is middle-ware that processes order information to be used in the pick to light system. This order information can be in many different forms such as database, ASCII files, sockets, and File Transfer Protocol(FTP).

The Real Time Pick to Light program shows the orders that are active in the system as well as which pickers are logged into each of the zones. When each pick is made, the IPTI Statistics program updates the corresponding pickers statistics to show each picker's productivity. Reports can be generated in case managers need a hardcopy for reference.

The Statistics program also receives information from the Order Reconciliation program when an error occurs during the order fulfillment process. If an orders has any miss-picks or miscounts, the Order Reconciliation will report to the statistics program to hold that specific picker accountable.

• Our standard Pick To Light control software is available for both the Windows and Java platforms providing maximum flexibility by allowing you to run it on the operating system of your choice including Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista, Linux, Solaris and any other operating system for which the Java Runtime Environment is available.
• The IPTI Host Interface program can be configured to connect to any data source for order information. This consists of any database source such as ODBC, Oracle™, SQL Server™, Access™, ASCII files, sockets, and FTP.
• Orders can be manually inducted into the Pick to Light system from the Host Interface program so that orders with higher priority can be fulfilled right away.
• The IPTI Real Time Control Software shows the orders moving through the Pick to Light system in real time.
• The IPTI Real Time control software includes system diagnostics to ensure the Pick to Light system is running optimum level.
• The IPTI Pick to Light Statistics software keeps real time picker productivity statistics so that pickers can be monitored at all times. These statistics include: total units picked, total lines completed, total orders completed, units per hour logged in, lines per hour logged in, orders per hour logged in, miss-picks, picker idle time, average pick time, and more.
• Picker Statistics are held in a database for up to one year. Reports can be printed from this database to show picker productivity for an entire year and snapshot reports can be printed at any point in time for to show current statistics.
• The Order Reconciliation program double checks that orders are picked with 100% accuracy. If any errors occur, the Order Reconciliation program reports to the Statistics program to keep track of miss-picks made by the picker so corrections to orders can be made before shipping.
