The Pick-MAX Auto A-Frame picking system has been installed and has sucessfully completed its first picking cycle. " The system operated beyond our expectations " stated Darin Danelski, IPTI President. Pick-MAX Auto is an automated A-Frame picking sytem that utilizes state-of-the-art RFID technology to greatly reduce the investment required to implement this new technology.

IPTI has partnered with a leading supplier of custom automation systems to develop a system to fulfill and label prescription medicines. IPTI supplies the front end of the pharmacy automation system which features the Pick-MAX2 Pick to Light System. IPTI is currently in the process of rolling out this solution to 20 automated pharmacies across the United States.

IPTI has recently completed two expansion projects for a leading supplier of contact lenses. The expansion includes the addition of 5,300 Pick-MAX2 displays to the existing installation at the Florida DC, bringing the total number of displays at that location to 8,000. A separate installation of 7,300 displays at the Middlesex, UK Distribution Center marks IPTI's first major entry into the European marketplace. IPTI has completed CE certification on it's Pick-MAX2 Pick to Light system as a prerequisite of entry into the European Market.

Combining task complete button and indicator, PICK-MAX˛ provides 1-touch, 1-glance operation. Sense-ME(TM) hand sensor validates picks from pick face and eliminates need to press button after each pick/put. Indicator light has 5 colors, allowing multiple pickers per zone, batch pick, etc. Three conductor BUS is integrated into plastic extrusion to mount to flow rack or static shelving. Teamed with Watch-Me(TM) system, PICK-MAX˛ lets pickers work in zoned or zoneless mode.
